Australian Ninja Warrior Competition – May 2023, Bayswater, Melbourne

Australian Ninja Warrior, as most of you would know, is a highly popular and intense competition that’s been gripping audiences all over the world. It’s a gruelling obstacle course that requires dedication to your physical and mental strength.

But did you know there’s local level competitions around Australia? The Compound Training in Bayswater, Melbourne, has been a major local hub for the Australian Ninja Warrior Competition since its inception. The Compound hosts numerous competitions throughout the year, attracting athletes from all over Australia to compete.

The monthly Ninja Warrior competitions at The Compound in Bayswater are one of the best places to start and test your strength and endurance.

The Compound Ninja hosted it’s 3rd Ninja competition for 2023 on May 28th. It was an epic event with everything you’d expect from the highly energetic sport.

Training hard throughout the month, all the athletes were ready to prove their newly built skills and strength, pushing the limits of what’s possible. The Rookie Ninjas were exact proof of that, displaying their training and hard work in performances that impressed everyone in attendance.

The lines between different levels of athletes are fast becoming blurred. Rookie Ninjas, by training regularly, are fast improving their skills and strength and have put the 2nd of three categories, the Ninjas, on notice. It doesn’t feel that long ago that a lot of the obstacles the Rookies are now mastering were near impossible by even the Ninja Elite.

Speaking of those blurred lines, that mid-level group were the true stars of the show, displaying a high standard of performance that was nearly on par with the elite ninjas. Their grit, determination, and unwavering focus in every course run were awe-inspiring, serving as an example to aspiring ninja warriors everywhere.

Although the Elite Ninja category had a small number of athletes, six incredible competitors showcased their skills, endurance, and strength in a closely-fought contest. With an age gap between the youngest and oldest contestants of almost 40 years, they all displayed incredible resilience and determination to push themselves to the limit and beyond.

The local Ninja Warrior competition this month was proof of the hard work and dedication athletes are putting in. The Compound really is the ideal place to train Ninja Warrior in Melbourne. And their monthly competition is one of the best ways to show your improvements.

The Compound Ninja Series runs every last Saturday of the month so you have just under a full month to get down, start training and get involved. See you there!
